Adaptation in the Current Services: Management Perspectives Working in the CLSCs of the Capitale-Nationale Region.
*AVAILABLE IN FRENCH ONLY*
The purpose of this study is to understand, from the perspective of managers, the state of cultural and linguistic adaptations within the ongoing services offered by the CLSCs in the Capitale-Nationale territory that deal with immigrant populations whose working language is not French. The study presents the current situation regarding the care of immigrant populations in regular services and then analyzes the tools, strategies and mechanisms put in place by the managers of regular services to ensure that cultural and linguistic diversity is taken into account within the service offer. Finally, this report identifies possible solutions for strengthening the cultural and linguistic adaptation of regular CLSC services. This qualitative, descriptive and exploratory study was conducted as part of a Master’s program in community health.
