This research project pre-framing report identifies characteristics of the experiences of people working with English-speaking clients in territories with a low English-speaking population density. To carry out this exploratory qualitative study, interviews were conducted with nine professionals in the health and social services network in the Chaudi\u00e8re-Appalaches and Gasp\u00e9sie-\u00celes-de-la-Madeleine regions. Their analysis made it possible to better target five aspects of the professional experience of health and social services personnel working with English-speaking clients: their ability to respond to the needs of this clientele, the relationships between colleagues, the rate of staff turnover, professional isolation, and finally, possible solutions for improving services to English-speaking clients living in territories with a lower density English-speaking population.<\/p>\n
