Goal.<\/span><\/h2>\n

The Centre of Expertise on the Adaptation for English-speaking Communities in Health and Social Services (CE-ACESS) facilitates dialogue among partners from the English-speaking community, the research and evaluation sector and the health and social services network in Eastern Quebec. It promotes the development of joint initiatives, including research projects, such as action-research projects and program and policy evaluations, as well as the sharing of knowledge and training. In doing so, it intends to enhance our understanding of minority communities and their needs and to contribute to the quality, responsiveness and accessibility of the health and social services delivered to Quebec English speakers. History<\/span>.<\/h2>\n

The Centre of Expertise on the Adaptation for English-speaking Communities in Health and Social Services (CE-ACESS) is the result of a joint initiative between Jeffery Hale \u2012 Saint Brigid\u2019s (grouped with the CIUSSS de la Capitale-Nationale) and Jeffery Hale Community Partners. Together, for thirty years now, they have cultivated an engaged partnership-based approach which continues to prove most effective at reaching and serving, in their mother tongue, English speakers living in the Capitale-Nationale region.<\/p>\n

In March 2019, with the support of the Secr\u00e9tariat aux relations avec les Qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois d\u2019expression anglaise, the CE-ACESS was created to share this expertise. It operates under the joint responsibility of its partners and founders and its administrative governance is ensured by Jeffery Hale \u2012 Saint Brigid\u2019s, where it is located.<\/p>\n

The CE-ACESS is also associated with VITAM \u2013 Research Centre for Sustainable Health and the Frontline University Institute in Health and Social Services of the CIUSSS de la Capitale-Nationale. These partners collaborate in creating academic knowledge that contributes to supporting the improvement of local health care and services and the health of the English-speaking community.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1653600563627{margin-bottom: 20px !important;}”][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n
